The controller of your personal data is Orvian s.r.o., Company ID 23935910, VAT ID CZ23935910, registered at Nové sady 988/2, Staré Brno, 602 00 Brno (the "controller" or "we"). We operate this website under the Orvian brand.

We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Czech Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on personal data processing. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as we are not legally required to.

We process only the data you actively provide through the contact form or in direct communication (email, phone):

• first and last name
• phone number
• email address
• company name and Company ID (optional)
• the content of your message and your area of interest (foodservice / cleaning)

We run no traffic analytics, tracking or profiling, and we process no special categories of personal data.

We process your data for the following purposes and legal bases:

• Handling your non-binding enquiry or question and preparing an offer — legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Subsequent business communication, keeping a record of enquiries and protecting our legitimate claims — legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Compliance with legal obligations where they arise (e.g. accounting and tax) — legal basis: compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

Providing the data is voluntary; without contact details, however, we cannot reach you or handle your enquiry.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that process it on our behalf under a data-processing agreement:

• EmailJS (EmailJS, Inc., USA) — technical sending and delivery of the contact form. The form data is sent directly from your browser to this service, which delivers it to our mailbox.
• Our email and web hosting provider — operation of email and the website.
• Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC — only if you actively load the Google Maps map on the Contact page (see the Cookies section).

Data may also be made available to our advisers (e.g. accounting, legal) and to public authorities where required by law.

EmailJS, which we use to deliver the contact form, is operated by a company based in the United States. Submitting the form may therefore transfer your data outside the European Economic Area. Such transfer is secured by appropriate safeguards under the GDPR (in particular the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework).

We keep enquiry data for the time needed to handle it and then for as long as necessary to protect our legitimate interests, at most 3 years from our last mutual communication — unless we agree otherwise, a contract arises between us, or a longer period is required by law (e.g. accounting and tax rules). After that we delete or anonymise the data.

In relation to your personal data you have the following rights under the GDPR:

• the right of access to your data and to a copy of it (Art. 15),
• the right to rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16),
• the right to erasure ("right to be forgotten", Art. 17),
• the right to restriction of processing (Art. 18),
• the right to data portability (Art. 20),
• the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21),
• the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

You can exercise your rights at info@orvian.cz. We will handle them without undue delay, within one month at the latest.

Our website uses no cookies of its own and no analytics, traffic-measurement or marketing tools. Language is handled via the page address, not by storing anything in your browser. The site works fully without cookies.

The only element that may set third-party cookies is the embedded Google Maps map on the Contact page. The map does not load automatically — it appears only after you click to show it. Until then Google sets no data or cookies. By clicking to show the map you consent to loading Google Maps content and to the use of Google cookies under its policies (policies.google.com).

You can view and delete any cookies at any time in your browser settings.

We may update this policy from time to time, for example when the services we use or the applicable law change. The current version is always available on this page with the stated effective date.
